摘要
中华传统文化中的“文德”,最初指“君王之道”,是帝王内圣外王的政治手段,对外用于扩张领土,对内作为道德要求统治臣子。在长期的政治生活正向演绎中,“文德”的内涵发生外延,在文论中作为专门概念继续演化。进入文学批评领域后,“文德”成为对“文人之德”与“文章之德”的最高要求,经学者的推动演变为“文德说”,即中国文学思想史上批评伦理的重要理论。
In traditional Chinese culture,“Cultural and Moral Virtue” originally referred to “the governing way of the king”,which was a political means used by emperors to expand territory and govern their subjects as a moral requirement.In the long-term positive interpretation of political life,the connotation of “Cultural and Moral Virtue” has expanded and continues to evolve as a specialized concept in literary theory.After entering the field of literary criticism,“Cultural and Moral Virtue” became the highest requirement for “the virtue of literati” and “the virtue of writing”.With the promotion of scholars,it evolved into “the theory of literary virtue”,which is an important theory of critical ethics in the history of Chinese literary thought.
