摘要
“比N还N”的比较级同语式具有简洁精练、和谐对称、语义鲜明、凸显强调等众多语用特征,常用于日常生活对话中,且出现频率日益增高,得到不少学者的关注与研究。本文采用语法—语用的双重转喻机制,对“比N还N”类比较级同语式进行研究,主要解释对这一比较级同语构式的转喻理解,并追根溯源探讨其传承的生成机制。研究发现,“比N还N”比较级同语构式由“N是N”同语构式衍化而来,受“N是N”构式特征的压制,如名词形化以及描述项的确定性,同时部分传承了其句法特征,即语法转喻和语用转喻同时作用的双重转喻机制。
The comparative-level homonym of“bi N hai N”has many pragmatic characteristics such as conciseness and elegance,harmony and symmetry,clear semantics,and prominent emphasis.This con-struction is often used in daily life dialogues and appears more and more frequently,which has received the attention and research of many scholars.This paper intends to use the grammatical-pragmatic bi-meton-ymy mechanism to study the comparative-level homonym of the“bi N hai N”,mainly to understand the bi-metonymy mechanism in this construction,and to trace the root cause to explore the generation mech-anism.It is found that the“be N hai N”is derived from the“N is N”homonym,which is also suppressed by the construction characteristics of“N is N”,and partially inherits its syntactic characteristics.
