摘要
胶质瘤是中枢神经系统中最常见的原发性恶性肿瘤,铁死亡是一种新发现的细胞死亡方式,与癌症相关,其中包括胶质母细胞瘤(GBM)。靶向与铁死亡有关的不同分子并刺激这一过程的药物已被描述为潜在的辅助抗癌治疗选择。在胶质母细胞瘤中,铁死亡刺激抑制肿瘤生长,改善患者生存,并增加放疗和化疗的疗效。本文归纳整理了目前关于胶质母细胞瘤中铁死亡调节作用的研究进展。
Glioma is the most common primary malignant tumor in the central nervous system,and ferroptosis is a newly discovered form of cell death that has been linked to cancer,including glioblastoma(GBM).Drugs that target different molecules associated with ferroptosis and stimulate this process have been described as a potential adjuvant anti-cancer treatment option.In GBM,ferroptosis stimulates inhibition of tumor growth,improves patient survival,and increases the efficacy of radiation and chemotherapy.This article summarizes the current research progress on the regulation of ferroptosis in glioblastoma.
