摘要
数字经济时代,制造业与服务业的融合发展成为重要表现。如何更好地推动数字技术对制造业和服务业融合发展的影响是当前学术界关注的重点问题。基于技术融合、业务融合与市场融合的分析框架,手工整理2007—2020年中国上市公司和地级市匹配数据,对中国282个地级市制造业与服务业融合发展水平进行测算,并对数字技术影响制造业与服务业融合发展的因果效应及作用机理进行经验识别。研究发现:数字技术可以显著提升制造业与服务业的融合发展水平,并且该结论在考虑内生性问题以及一系列稳健性检验基础上仍然成立。机制检验表明,数字技术主要是通过提升技术创新、增强通用性资产投资、打破地理空间局限来推动制造业与服务业的融合发展。异质性分析表明,数字技术对城市群地级市、高技术行业、数字化发展程度高以及所在地区市场化程度较高的制造业与服务业融合发展水平的促进作用更加显著。研究结论不仅揭示了以数字化为代表的新兴动能对于推动制造业与服务业融合发展的重要意义,也为数字化相关政策的制定以及构建现代产业体系提供政策启示。
With the accelerated development of the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation,the industrial boundary between manufacturing and service industries gradually blurring,and while the manufacturing industry is transforming from a single product type to a“production+service”type,the production process of the service industry also begins to take on manufacturing characteristics.With the wide application of digital technology,the paradigm of the modern industrial system is being reconstructed,and The Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for the Development of the Digital Economy also emphasises the importance of using digital technology to promote industrial integration and foster a model of inclusive development.In the era of digital economy,a profound understanding of the role of digital technology in the integrated development of manufacturing and service industries is of great significance in promoting the healthy development of China’s digital economy and building a modern industrial system with the deep integration of advanced manufacturing and modern service industries.Based on the three-dimensional framework of technology convergence,business convergence and market convergence,the theoretical logic of digital technology affecting the integration development of manufacturing and service industries is explained,and the matching data of listed companies and prefecture-level cities in manufacturing and service industries from 2007 to 2020 are manually collated and textually analyzed,and indicators measuring the integration development of digital technology and manufacturing and service industries are constructed for empirical testing.The study finds that digital technology significantly contributes to the level of integration between manufacturing and service industries,and that this finding holds true taking into account endogeneity issues and a series of robustness tests.The mechanism tests show that digital technologies promote the integration of manufacturing and service industries mainl
