摘要
以2013—2020年间我国A股上市公司为研究对象,分析性别、年龄、学历、专业和政治关联等特质如何影响高层管理者认知能力、资源优势和社会网络,进而对企业投资多元化产生作用。研究发现高层管理者的思维认知、资源获取能力和社会网络受到性别、专业背景和政治关联等影响。男性的高层管理者相较更能承受踏足新领域带来的风险,理工科背景的高层管理者创新意识强烈,复合专业背景扩展了高层管理者的知识面,具有政治关联使高层管理者社会资源丰富。高层管理者学历越高,对所在企业提高多元化水平有正向作用。年龄对人的影响可能过于复杂,数据分析结果并未提供高层管理者年龄对投资多元化产生影响的强有力证据。
Taking China's A-share listed companies from 2013 to 2020 as the research object,this paper selects samples,obtains panel data,constructs a fixed effect model,and analyzes the relationship between the characteristics of senior managers and investment diversification.The study finds out that senior managers'thinking cognition,resource acquisition ability and social network are affected by gender,professional background and political relevance.Compared with female senior managers,the males are more able to bear the risks brought by stepping into new fields.Senior managers with science and engineering background have a strong sense of innovation.The compound professional background expands the knowledge of senior managers,has political connections,and enriches the social resources of senior managers.The higher the education level of senior managers,the more conducive it is to improving their social level,obtaining high-quality resources and improving their ability,which has a positive effect on improving the diversification level of their enterprises.The impact of age on people may be too complex,and the data analysis results do not provide strong evidence that the age of senior managers has an impact on investment diversification.
