长链非编码RNA SNHG16在不同消化道恶性肿瘤中的作用

Role of long non-coding RNA SNHG16 in different gastrointestinal malignancies

摘要 长链非编码RNA(long non-coding RNA,lncRNA)可作为致癌基因或肿瘤抑制因子在人类恶性肿瘤的发生发展中发挥重要作用,被认为是诊断恶性肿瘤和判断预后的潜在标志物。位于17号染色体17q25.1上的小核仁RNA宿主基因16(small nucleolar RNA host gene 16,SNHG16)是一种新的肿瘤相关lncRNA,在多种恶性肿瘤中表达异常。同时,SNHG16的高表达与患者的临床和病理特征有关,并通过多种潜在机制调节细胞增殖、凋亡、侵袭、转移以及影响脂质代谢和化疗耐药性。SNHG16可能是一种有前途的恶性肿瘤生物标志物和治疗靶点。本研究总结SNHG16在多种消化道恶性肿瘤中的生物学功能、相关机制和潜在的临床意义。 Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)can play an important role in the occurrence and development of human cancers as oncogenes or tumor suppressors,and are considered as potential markers for diagnosing cancer and judging prognosis.Small nucleolar RNA host gene 16(SNHG16)located on chromosome 1717q25.1 is a novel tumor-associated lncRNA,and have been found to be abnormally expressed in a variety of malignant tumors.Meanwhile,high expression of SNHG16 is associated with the clinical and pathological features of patients,and regulates cell proliferation,apoptosis,invasion,metastasis,and affects lipid metabolism and chemoresistance through a variety of potential mechanisms.These evidences suggest that SNHG16 may be a promising cancer biomarker and therapeutic target.In this review,we summarize the biological functions,related mechanisms and potential clinical significance of SNHG16 in various gastrointestinal malignancies.
