摘要
本文以30名英语口译专业硕士研究生为受试对象,考察同传过程中后置修饰语对自我修正的影响。研究运用三角验证评估方法,开展同传录音、问卷调查和译后访谈,进行组内(比较受试在后置修饰语处的表现)与组间(比较口译训练对自我修正的影响)比较研究。研究发现,后置修饰语造成同传困难,加大译员听解压力;后置修饰语与自我修正具有较为显著的相关性,表现为加重译员工作负荷,译语产出时频繁出现自我修正等;同传过程中自我修正可以提高译语的准确性,但同时抑制译语产出的流利度。
This study explores effects of postmodifiers on self-correction during the English-Chinese simultaneous interpretation with 30 MTI students as subjects.Through collecting data from tests,questionnaires and interviews,within-subject experiment(on self-correction)and between subject experiment(on the effects of interpretation training on self-correction)were conducted.The results are as follows:firstly,during the interpretation,postmodifiers may become obstacles to simultaneous interpretation,which at the same time may increase cognitive burden on interpreters in listening and understanding of source language;secondly,postmodifiers are highly linked with self-correction,which impose higher pressure on interpreters,causing self-correction in the interpreting process;thirdly,self-correction can also improve the accuracy of target language while reducing the fluency of interpretation.
