Adsorption properties of activated carbon-geopolymer composite microspheres for dyes

摘要 以活性炭、煅烧高岭土和工业水玻璃为主要原料,在油相中悬浮分散制备活性炭-地聚物复合微球(CGM)吸附剂。通过XRD和SEM对其结构进行了表征,重点研究了CGM对罗丹明B(RB)和亚甲基蓝(MB)的吸附过程。结果表明:CGM对RB和MB的吸附更接近准二级动力学模型,等温吸附过程都能用Langmuir和Freundlich方程较好的拟合,298 K时吸附剂对RB和MB的理论最大吸附容量分别为34.96、52.77 mg/g。 Activated carbon-geopolymer composite microspheres(CGM) were prepared by suspension dispersion method, with the activated carbon, metakaolin and water glass as raw materials.Its structure was characterized by XRD and SEM, and the adsorption properties of CGM for rhodamine B(RB) and methylene blue(MB) were investigated.The results showed that the adsorption of RB and MB on CGM was fitted well with the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and the adsorption isotherm could be described by Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm equations.The Qm(maximum theoretical adsorption capacity) of RB and MB on CGM were 34.96 and 52.77 mg/g at 298 K.
