摘要
电影《小人物》讲述了一个美国普通职员哈奇通过一己之力战胜社会邪恶势力的故事。剧情伸张正义,内容积极向上。选取《小人物》的字幕汉译作为研究对象,从经典翻译理论——目的论视角进行探析和解读,该电影的字幕翻译主要使用了目的论指导下的归化和异化策略,且将这两种策略有机融合,归化和异化不仅可准确地转换汉英两种不同语言的语码,还能有效传递中外跨文化信息,对推广目的论运用于更多的字幕翻译及其他领域的翻译具有借鉴意义。
The film Little People tells the story of an American ordinary employee,Hatch,who defeated the social evil forces by his own efforts.The plot is just and the content is positive.The subtitle translation of the Little Man is selected as the research object,and analyzed and interpreted from the perspective of skopos theory,a classical translation theory.The subtitle translation of the film mainly uses domestication and foreignization strategies under the guidance of skopos theory,and organically integrates these two strategies.Domestication and foreignization can not only accurately convert the codes of Chinese and English languages,but also effectively transmit cross-cultural information at home and abroad.It can be used for reference to promote the application of skopos theory to subtitle translation and other translation fields.
