摘要
视天体异动、气候反常、山崩川竭等灾异现象为上天对人间君主的警诫,见诸先秦、秦、西汉初传世文献和出土简牍。《汉书·五行志》在《洪范五行》天谴灾异的论述框架中,列举草妖、服妖、犬祸、血污、青蝇矢、久阴不雨、天狗夹汉等涉及刘贺的负面“天意验证”,论述废黜刘贺、继立宣帝的正当性,应该有其史事基础,而非后世史家刻意制造的后设性论述。在汉代的政治文化语境和灾异论述中,刘贺即位前后这些灾异征兆的出现,是合情合理、符合“天意”的。
The disasters and anomalies such as celestial body changes,abnormal climate,landslides and dried-up rivers,etc.are usually regarded as the warnings of heaven to human monarchs,which can be found in the documents handed down from the pre-Qin,Qin and early Western Han dynasties and unearthed bamboo slips.In the discussion framework of the wrath of heaven and abnormal disasters described by Five Elements in Ruling Method,History of the Han Dynasty·Five Annuals lists the negative"verification of Liu He’s destiny by anomalies",such as grass demon,strange dress,dog disaster,blood stain,green flies’excrement,long-lasting rainy days,and Heavenly Hound taking the Milky Way to the west,etc.,and discusses the legitimacy of deposing Liu He and electing Emperor Xuan,which shall have its historical basis,rather than the postmortem discussion deliberately made by later historians.In the political and cultural context of the Han Dynasty and the discussion of disasters in different periods,the appearance of these signs of disasters before and after Liu He’s accession to the throne is reasonable and in line with the will of Heaven.
