Objective:To systematically evaluate the improving efficacy of Chinese patent medicine for supplementing Qi(气)and activating blood circulation on endothelial protection function of coronary heart disease patients. Methods:In databases such as CNKI,Wanfang database,VIP database,PubMed,Embase Database,Cochrane Library, all the randomized controlled trials of Chinese patent medicines on sale for supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation in the treatment of coronary heart disease were searched, and the qualities of the included studies were evaluated. The data of the included studies was extracted.Cochrane risk bias evaluation system was used to perform a risk bias evaluation for the included clinical trials.A meta-analysis was executed, and RevMan 5.3 software was used for a quality evaluation. Results:The results of the meta-analysis showed that Chinese patent medicines for supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation can increase plasma nitric oxide level(P<0.00001),decrease plasma endothelin level(P<0.0001),and improve endothelial dependent relaxation function mediated by brachial artery. Conclusion:Chinese patent medicine for supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation can increase plasma nitric oxide level, decrease plasma endothelin level, improve endothelial dependent relaxation function, and improve endothelial cell function of the coronary heart disease patient.
