摘要
作为一种语言形式,英语语言文学作品中常出现夸张、反语、拟人、隐喻、幽默等修辞手法,以此提升作品的趣味性与可读性,并在一定程度上增加了作品的文学色彩与艺术价值。而读者在阅读时需要通过语境以及对英语文化的了解来判断修辞手法,从而真正地理解作品的真实含义。因此,急需对英语语言文学作品中的常见修辞手法进行详尽分析,从相关作品中找出具有代表性的应用案例进行具体解读,以此掌握并判断相关修辞手法的运用规律和使用技巧,为今后的阅读与翻译服务。
As a form of language,rhetorical devices such as exaggeration,irony,personification,metaphor and humor appear frequently in English literary works,so as to enhance the interest and readability of the works,and to increase its literary color and artistic value to a certain extent.Readers need to judge those rhetorical devices through the context and by understanding of English culture,so as to truly understand the true meaning of the works.Therefore,it is urgent to analyze in detail the commonly used rhetorical devices in English literature,and to find out representative application cases from relevant works for specific analysis and interpretation,and to master and judge the application rules and skills of relevant rhetorical devices,so as to serve the future reading and translation work.
