摘要
多模态理论是系统功能语言学派在20世纪90年代提出的多种符号系统相结合促进意义理解方面的理论。在海外汉语教学中,借助多模态理论的指导,切实有效地提高了海外汉语学习者听与说汉语的能力。以波兰华沙大学汉学系本科三年级学生的汉语视听说课为例,论述了中高级阶段汉语学习者如何通过多模态理论的实际应用,提高他们的汉语综合技能和交际水平。最后总结了语言和文化相融合在海外汉语教学中的重要作用。
Multi-modal theory was put forward by the System Functional Language School in the 1990s of the 20th century.The theory points out that multiple symbolic systems in a language actually work together to promote meaning understanding.In Chinese teaching overseas,with the guidance of multi-modal theory,the ability of overseas Chinese learners in listening and speaking Chinese is effectively improved.Taking the Chinese visual-audio-oral course for the third-year undergraduate student of the Department of Sinology of the University of Warsaw University of Poland as an example,it discusses how the middle and advanced Chinese learners can improve their comprehensive Chinese skills and their communication level through the practical application of multi-modal theory.Finally,the important role of language and culture integration in overseas Chinese teaching is summarized.
