摘要
在过去的30年里,中国的英语教育经历了几个发展阶段。早期的语言学习方法以语法习得为中心,后来发展为侧重交际能力的培养。尽管2001年教育部将文化意识作为语言教学目标之一,但新课程大纲与课堂教学之间似乎存在着差距。该文论述的目的在于将中国的语言课堂发展和教学特点与西方主要英语国家的语言课堂进行对比,从而找出不足,对今后的中国语言教学有所启发。
In the past 30 years,English education in China has experienced several stages of development.The early language learning methods focused on grammar acquisition,and later developed into the cultivation of communicative competence.Although one of the objectives of the language teaching of cultural consciousness composition in 2001,there seems to be a gap between the new curriculum outline and classroom teaching.The purpose of this paper is to compare the development and teaching characteristics of Chinese language classroom with that of the major English-speaking countries in the west,so as to find out the shortcomings and enlighten the future Chinese language teaching.
