摘要
在语言学习和跨语言交际中,翻译是不可缺少的环节。无论是语言学习还是语言翻译运用,都需要准确翻译确保原文全部信息被目标语言准确表达,包括语言表达中所体现出来的情感、态度、语气,以及深层文化信息等。英汉翻译中,相关信息与语言表达还要根据文本特色和语境差异进行不同的处理,以确保翻译后语言表达的准确性和贴切性,让目标语言的应用者能够准确获取源语言所要表达的全部信息,了解源语言语句表达的浅层和深层意义、文化信息、情感态度、表达语气、遣词造句及行文特点。语言是文化的载体,宗教信仰、民族传统、价值观念、生活习惯等影响下的语言具有各自不同的文化信息,英汉翻译中还要思考文化差异,从遣词造句到思维方式,都要凸显出文化特色,才能做到“信”“达”“雅”的基本翻译标准,提高语言之间的准确翻译与信息的恰当传递。
In language learning and cross-language communication,translation is an indispensable link.Both in language learning and language translation,it is necessary to ensure that all the information in the original text is accurately expressed in the target language through accurate translation.This includes the feelings,attitudes,mood and deep cultural information embodied in language expression.In English-Chinese translation,relevant information and language expression should be handled in different ways according to text features and context differences,in order to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the language expression after translation.The goal is to enable the target language users to accurately obtain all the information to be expressed in the source language,understand the shallow,deep meanings of the source language,cultural information,emotional attitude,expression mood,words and sentences,as well as writing features.Language is the carrier of culture.Under the influence of different religious beliefs,national traditions,values and living habits,different languages have different cultural information.Therefore,cultural differences must be considered in English-Chinese translation,in order to achieve the basic translation standards of faithfulness,expressiveness and elegance,and to improve the accurate translation between languages and the proper transmission of information.
