摘要
傣文字母与巴利文字母大多数有对应关系,根据字母的对应可用傣文转写巴利语,但转写时,有一部分词出现了音变现象。本文讨论傣文用u转写巴利语短元音a的现象,分析音变条件和音变规律,并利用音变规律还原巴利语部分词的形式并释读傣文古籍的一些疑难词。
Most letters of the Dai script have their corresponding counterparts in the Pali script.The Pali words are usually transcribed with the Dai script according to the correspondences between letters.Nonetheless,phonetic variations arise in the transcription of some Pali words.This paper discusses the phenomena where the Dai letter indicating/u/is used to transcribe the Pali short vowel/a/,analyzes the conditions and rules of phonetic variations,and employs the summarized rules of phonetic variations to help restore and identify the original forms of some Pali words and interpret some intractable words in the ancient documents written in the Dai script.
