摘要
美国学者诺曼·莱文曾对恩格斯的“两种生产”理论的内涵产生了质疑,并制造了马克思与恩格斯关于唯物史观内容上的对立。这个观点存在着逻辑上的错误,马克思与恩格斯在理论表达上呈现出和而不同的特点,两人关于“两种生产”理论是具有一致性的。马克思与恩格斯在“两种生产”理论中充分肯定了“经济因素”的作用;在对摩尔根理论的扬弃上是同步的;在“归根结底”意义上,把“两种生产”当作历史发展的决定因素,对“两种生产”之间的作用关系有了更深刻的回答。晚年恩格斯“两种生产”理论的提出实现了对人类社会发展动力的解答,是对马克思主义哲学的重大突破。
The American scholar Norman Levine once questioned the connotation of Engels’ s theory of "twotypes of production" and created a confrontation between Marx and Engels on the content of the historical materialism.There are logical errors in this view. In fact, Marx and Engels show harmonious and different characteristics in theoretical expression, and they are consistent in the theory of "two types of production".Marx and Engels fully affirm the role of "economic factors" in the theory of "two types of production";they both have the same attitude towards Morgan’s theory;in the sense of "in the last resort", they regard "two types of production" as the determining factor of historical development, and give a more profound answer to the relationship between "two types of production".Engels’ theory of "two types of production" was the answer to the driving force of social development and a major breakthrough in Marxist philosophy.
