摘要
东汉名士张俭因得罪宦官侯览而被缉捕,逃亡途中“望门投止”寻求庇护。透过该事件,可以深入观察东汉后期中央政府的社会控制情况。侯览“刊章捕俭”,是担心举报张俭者遭受打击报复;党人们“刻石立墠”,则表明名士群体组织化程度之高,且成为地方政治的实际主导者。“望门投止”事件反映出桓灵之际清浊对立的严峻,皇权对于社会的控制能力已孱弱不堪。
Zhang Jian(张俭),a famous scholar of the Eastern Han Dynasty,was arrested after offending the eunuch Hou Lan(侯览).He had a Wangmentouzhi(望门投止)trip on his way to escape.By analyzing the whole story,we can observe the social control of the central government in the late Eastern Han Dynasty.The reason why Hou Lan cut down the memorial to arrest Zhang Jian(刊章捕俭),for he was worried that those who reported Zhang Jian would be retaliated.Made a deed in the stone(刻石立墠)indicated that on the time between the emperor of Huan and Ling,the degree of scholar institution had greatly improved,and had become the actual leader of local administration.The event of Wang mentouzhi revealed the battle between the evil and the just and showed that the control of imperial power over the society in the late Eastern Han Dynasty was weak.
