摘要
位于夏鲁寺一层回廊西北角的密闭佛殿嘎加羌(bka’ rgya byang),因其中保存的精美四臂观音画像而举世闻名。当今学界对此殿壁画的关注多是风格层面的讨论,并未触及壁画背后的绘制年代、图像功能及建筑意义等基本问题。本文先从嘎加羌内室南北壁祖师传承序列入手,分析杰冈巴观音三尊(sgang pa lugs)与秘密成就马头明王(rta mgrin gsang sgrub bsgrub pa)的传承情况,考述该殿图像的配置逻辑,再结合旬努竹、多杰贝桑等人物的文献史料,探析殿内壁画的绘制意图及年代,最后,作者依据寺院建筑格局的发展轨迹,明确此密闭殿堂内的图像之于夏鲁寺的深层意义。
The bka’ rgya byang chapel in the northwest corner of the first-floor cloister of Zhwalu Monastery is well-known for the wall-painted graceful four-armed Guanyin images inside.The scholars usually discuss the artistic style but ignore the basic issues behind the paintings concerning creation date,image function,architectural meaning and others,so this thesis starts with the inheritance relationship of the founding masters’ images on the south and north walls of the bka’ rgya byang chapel to analyze the succession from sgang pa lugs to rta mgrin gsang sgrub bsgrub pa for the logic of the iconographical program,then to identify the intention and age of the mural painting by the historical literatures on gzhon nu grub and gyung ston rdo rje dpal bzang,lastly to expound the deep meaning of these hidden paintings to Zhwalu Monastery from the architectural evolution in layout and arrangement.
