摘要
采用参与观察的研究方法和生命历程的研究视角,对两个典型社区进行对比,发现在城市中心居委会小区,积极参与社区活动的老年人以女性为主,而在村改居社区,则是以男性为主。同一性质、类型的社区活动在不同的社区出现不同的单一性别参与现象,同时,也发现总是较为固定的一群老年人积极参与。本研究将老年人参与社区活动的目的及方式,与社区工作者之间的互动,置于社区空间中考察,描述了城市老年人社区参与中存在的具体性别差异,认为这种差异是社区、社区工作者、老年人三方主体运用性别化策略、实施行动生成的结果。性别化策略是老年人资源获取、社区目标达成、社区工作者影响力发挥过程中,三方主体有意识或无意识利用社会性别差异共构、共建、共行的阻力最小路径,这个阻力最小路径会固化社会性别差异,强化基于社会性别差异的资源、机会不平等。
This paper compares two typical communities with the research method of participant observation and from the life-course perspective.It is found that in city-center communities,the elderly who actively participate in community activities are mainly women while in village-transformed communities such elderly are mainly men.And community activities of the same nature and type have different single-sex participation in different communities.At the same time,it is found that it is a relatively fixed group of elderly who always actively participate.This paper examines the purposes and methods of elderly’s participation in community activities and their interaction with community workers in community space and describes specific gender differences in urban elderly’s community participation.It believes that the differences are the result of the gender strategies and actions of the community,community workers and the elderly.Gender strategy is the path with the least resistance for the elderly,the community and community workers to construct,build and walk together,which may solidify gender differences and intensify inequality in resources and opportunities arising therefrom.
