摘要
作为翻译研究及其实践领域的重要议题,价值理性与人文精神具有逻辑同构关系,前者关涉以“价值合乎理性”为取向的翻译行为,出发点是翻译主体依据自觉设定的价值体系作为翻译行为的基底;后者涉猎翻译实践在翻译研究中经过历史积淀而形成的价值观念,它是以主体能动性来考察翻译的“主体精神”和以世界眼光来审视翻译的“世界精神”的双重内涵使翻译活动成为一种合理的价值创造。通过价值理性对翻译的认识与实践把握,体现人文精神是对构建翻译价值理性的一种延续与拓展。因此,价值理性与人文精神贯穿于中国文学外译乃至中国文化“走出去”之中,是理解翻译实践与解决翻译价值问题的根本出发点。
As an important issue in translation studies and translation practice,“value rationality”and“humanistic spirit”have a logically isomorphic relationship.The former is involved in the“value-oriented rationality”translation acts,and takes as its starting point the basic foundation of translation acts that translational subject has set up the value system in a conscious way,while the latter is about the long-term value ideas of translation practice in the process of translation studies,taking as its subjective initiative to examine the“subjective spirit”and as its world’s view to probe into the“world’s spirit”.These double connotations of“humanistic spirit”view translation as a reasonable value creation.Knowing translation and understanding its practice by means of value rationality have shown that humanistic spirit is essentially a kind of duration and expansion for the construction of value rationality.In a sense,value rationality and humanistic spirit go through the translation of Chinese literature and the“going out”of Chinese culture,and become the fundamental starting point of understanding translation practice and solving the problems of translation value.
