摘要
五台山是著名的佛教圣地,拥有悠久的历史,每年接待众多的国内外游客。作为外宣材料的语言景观应准确地呈现其历史文化内涵,但目前景区特色类语言景观英译版本不规范,各类错误现象频发,难以实现语言景观的功能,更无法有效地传播中国传统文化。研究者通过实地调研,发现目前景区英语语言景观存在的问题,力求推出标准化版本从而推动公共文化场所的语言景观翻译逐步统一化、规范化,推动五台山传统文化的对外传播,促进五台山国际旅游业的发展,促进山西经济的发展。
Mount Wutai is a Buddhist resort with a long history and a large number of tourists.The English linguistic landscape of the scenic spot must be matched with the historical, cultural and natural beauty.However, at present, the translation errors of the scenic spots are common, which makes it difficult to convey the cultural connotation and do a good job in the external communication of Chinese culture.It is proposed that the standardized version of English linguistic landscape can promote the gradual unification and standardization of linguistic landscape translation in public cultural places, accelerate the inheritance and innovation of traditional culture in Mount Wutai and promote the development of Shanxi and China’s tourism.
