摘要
20世纪初,《正客音译义木来由话》由广州而马来亚,显示着华南民间继承明朝编纂词典经营南海马来群岛的传统,以汉字单字组合各种马来字词的发音,完成巩固各族生存共同体内部文明互鉴的需要。以人们熟悉的汉字方言读音,串连相近读音的马来词汇,方便着客家群体查阅与学习马来文;更能支持华人和马来人不论在开拓垦荒,还是进行工商贸易,长期顺畅沟通,共谋福利。由此基础延续,许多华人通过方言母语有效学习马来文化,而地方华人书写旧体诗词,也能融入汉字方言拼音的马来词汇,甚至将客家山歌与马来传统诗歌相互翻译,且符合彼此传统格律。如此亦能反映,20世纪马来亚华人热切学习马来文化,也在表述着社群/文化对话的诚意,希冀各族共荣共存,保护祖辈共同开拓的成就与主权。
In the early 20;century,Zheng Ke Yin Yi Mu Lai Yu Hua(The Malay Dictionary Based on Transliteration of Hakka Dialect)was introduced from Guangzhou into Malaysia,which shows that folks in South China inherited the tradition of compiling dictionaries in the Ming Dynasty and operating the Malay Islands around the South China Sea by combining the pronunciation of various Malay words with Chinese characters so as to fulfill the need to consolidate the mutual learning of civilizations within the living community of all ethnic groups.It is convenient for Hakka groups to read and learn Malay by linking Malay words with familiar Chinese dialect pronunciation.It can also support the Chinese and Malays in the development of land reclamation,industrial and commercial trade,long-term smooth communication and common welfare.On this basis,many Chinese effectively learn Malay culture through their native dialects,while local Chinese can also integrate Malay vocabulary into Chinese dialect pinyin when writing old style poems,and even cross-translate Hakka folk songs and Malay traditional poems,and conform to each other’s traditional meters.This also reflects the eargerness of Malayan Chinese to learn Malay culture in the last century as well as the sincerity of the community/cultural dailogues in the hope that all ethnic groups would co-exist and propser together,and that the achievements and sovereignty jointly developed by their ancestors would be protected.
