摘要
《木兰辞》作为中国诗歌史上叙事诗的一个巅峰,受到中国古代文学、古典诗歌爱好者的关注而被翻译为多国语言。就其英译研究而言,目前学者大多从修辞研究、翻译规范、三美论以及传播学等视角进行对比分析,而对诗歌中推动叙事发展和感情抒发的声音尚没有给予应有的关注。鉴于此,本文拟从拟声词、对话以及韵律等方面对《木兰辞》的四个英译本进行对比分析,探讨其在翻译过程中再现原文声音世界的得失,以期对叙事诗的翻译及其研究有所裨益。
Chinese classical poetry has always been dominated by lyric poems,thus as a peak of the rarelycomposed narrative poetry,Mu Lan Ci has grabbed much attention from translators interested in Chinese classical poetry.Until now,most researchers have focused on the comparative study of its translations from the perspectives of figure of speech,translation norm,the Three Beauties and communication studies,while various sounds in the poem,which serve as an essential role in narration and expression have not received due attention.Therefore this paper makes a comparative analysis of the sound translations of W.A.P.Martin,H.H.Frankel,Wang Rongpei and Xu Yuanchong,and leads to the discovery that the translations of H.H.Frankel and Xu Yuanchong are more coherent,complete and effective in rendering the sound worlds.
