摘要
有机硅泡沫(SiF)含大量可燃有机侧链,在燃烧时伴随严重烟毒气体释放,对其进行阻燃抑烟改性十分重要。为了探究不同层状双氢氧化物(LDH)对SiF阻燃抑烟性能的影响差异,本文制备了两种金属元素组成不同的纳米LDH,并将其作为阻燃抑烟改性剂以及增强填料加入到SiF中。发现不同金属元素组成的MgAl-LDH和MgFe-LDH对SiF燃烧行为的影响截然不同。SiF/1MgAl-LDH的LOI值为29.6%,通过UL-94 V-0级,最大烟产生速率(pSPR)值降低42.4%;而SiF/1MgFe-LDH的LOI值为26.6%,无法通过UL-94测试,且pSPR值升高82.7%。以上结果归结于两者在高温条件下生成的金属氧化物对SiF的裂解过程影响不同,其中MgO/MgAl_(2)O_(4)对SiF的热分解起抑制作用,而MgO/MgFe_(2)O_(4)却对SiF的热分解起促进作用。另外,添加1份LDH均可以显著提升SiF的强韧性,包括压缩强度、拉伸强度以及拉伸断裂伸长率。
Silicone foam(SiF)contains a large amount of combustible organic side chains,which are accompanied by the release of severe smoke and poisonous gas during combustion,and it is particularly important to modify it to flame retardant and suppress smoke.In order to explore the effect of different layered double hydroxides(LDHs)on the flame retardancy and smoke suppression of SiF,two nano-LDHs with different composition of metal elements were successfully prepared in this paper,and then they were added to SiF as flame retardant and smoke suppressant modifiers and reinforcing fillers.It is found that MgAl-LDH and MgFe-LDH composed of different metal elements have completely opposite flame retardant and smoke suppressive effects in SiF.Among them,the LOI value of SiF/1MgAl-LDH is 29.6%,passing UL-94 V-0,the peak smoke production rate(pSPR)value is reduced by 42.4%;while the LOI value of SiF/1MgFe-LDH is 26.6%,failing the UL-94 test,and the pSPR value is increased by 82.7%.The above results are attributed to their different residual metal oxides under high temperature conditions.Wherein,MgO/MgAl_(2)O_(4)inhibits the thermal decomposition of SiF,while MgO/MgFe_(2)O_(4)promotes the thermal decomposition of SiF.Furthermore,due to the addition of 1 part of LDH,the strength and toughness of SiF are significantly improved,including compressive strength,tensile strength and tensile elongation at break.
