This paper describes the concept of BIM technology,analyzes characteristics of BIM technology,including visualization,collaborative,optimization,explores the application of BIM technology in the project organization and management,such as the application in the quality and safety management,in the application of material management,in the application of project cost information management,in the application of progress control,application in design,etc.
