摘要
在社会语言学研究中,英语变体的语音变异是一个日益突出的研究领域。音位的“自由变体”是一种普遍现象,但在语言讨论中未引起应有的注意。本研究以河南某高校非英语专业大一的学生为研究对象,对25名大学生进行了问卷调查,并结合大学生英语口语的发音现象对音位的自由变体进行了讨论,旨在揭示其英语语音特征,探讨语音变异与社会语言变异之间的关系。
In sociolinguistic research, the phonetic variation of English variants is an increasingly prominent research field. The “free variation” of phonemes is a common phenomenon, but it has not received much attention in linguistic discussions. Taking non-English major freshmen in a university in Henan Province as the research object, this study conducted a questionnaire survey on 25 college students, and discussed the free variation of phoneme in combination with the pronunciation phenomenon of college students’ oral English. The purpose of this study is to reveal the characteristics of English phonetics and to explore the relationship between phonetic variation and social language variation.
