摘要
作为清代中晚期会通三教的蜀中大儒,刘沅基于对“道”普遍性和实践性的独特理解,从传承谱系、思想体系、经书文本三个方面对儒者宣扬的“道统”论进行了批判。他回归儒家元典,强调道行于百姓之中,见于日常行事,与社会实践紧密结合。在“治道”与“圣学”的问题上,刘沅希望以“圣学”来辅助“治道”,具有鲜明的时代特点。
LIU Yuan was a great Confucian in Sichuan in the middle and late Qing Dynasty who knew well all three religions. He criticized “orthodox” preached by Confucians from inheritance, thought system and classic text based on his unique understanding of the universality and practice of “Tao”. He returned to the Confucianist classics and stressed existence of Tao in the mass and their daily life and its close relationship with social practice. As for the “Tao’s conduction” and “saints’ learning”, he hoped to help “Tao’s conduction” with “saints’ learning”. This had the striking features of that time.
