摘要
KU蛋白是日本学者于1981年首次在结缔组织病中发现并命名,广泛存在于人类、哺乳类动物、酵母、细菌等生物体内的一种蛋白质。KU蛋白由KU70和KU80两个亚基组成。研究发现KU蛋白参与DNA损伤修复、基因转录调控、DNA复制、端粒维持调控等多种细胞功能活动,与人类恶性肿瘤的发生、发展、治疗、预后密切相关。本文就KU蛋白的结构及主要参与的细胞功能(DNA损伤修复),以及KU蛋白在泌尿系肿瘤中的作用研究进展进行综述,有利于进一步了解泌尿系肿瘤相应的发生、发展机制,进而为泌尿系肿瘤的治疗提供新的途径。
KU protein exists widely in human,mammal,yeast,bacteria and other organisms,which was first discovered and named in connective tissue diseases by Japanese scholars in 1981.KU protein consists of two subunits,KU70 and KU80.It has been found that KU protein participates in a variety of cellular functional activities,such as DNA damage repair,gene transcriptional regulation,DNA replication,telomere maintenance regulation and so on,which are closely related to the occurrence,development,treatment and prognosis of human malignant tumors.In this paper,we discuss the structure and main cellular functions of KU protein(DNA damage and repair)in detail,and review the research progress on the role of KU protein in urinary tumors,hoping to better understand mechanism of the occurrence and development of urinary tumors,and provide a new way for the treatment of urinary tumors.
