摘要
目的探讨经典型骨肉瘤(conventional osteosarcoma,COS)中TIM-3蛋白表达及临床意义。方法采用免疫组化EnVision法检测50例COS中TIM-3蛋白表达,分析TIM-3表达与临床病理特征的关系及与预后的相关性。结果TIM-3主要表达于淋巴细胞及组织细胞胞膜。50例COS中TIM-3高表达13例(26%),低表达37例(74%)。TIM-3高表达患者肿瘤体积更大(P=0.024)、术后复发率更高(P=0.042)。TIM-3表达与患者生存期无关。结论COS中TIM-3蛋白存在不同程度的表达,其表达强度与肿瘤体积及复发率呈正相关,与总生存期和无瘤生存期无明显相关性。
Purpose To investigate the expression of TIM-3 in conventional osteosarcoma(COS),and to analyze the clinico-pathological significances of TIM-3.Methods Immunohistochemistry(EnVision method)was conducted on fifty cases of conventional osteosarcoma,and then the results were statistically analyzed.Results TIM-3 was differently expressed in osteosarcoma tissue,mainly on cell membrane of lymphocytes and histocytes.TIM-3 was highly expressed in 13 cases(26%),while lowly expressed in 37 cases(74%).High expression of TIM-3 was correlated with larger tumor size and more tumor relapse(P<0.05).There was no statistical significance found in analysis of TIM-3 expression with OS or PFS.Conclusion TIM-3 are differently expressed in COS,which is associated with tumor size and tumor relapse of COS patients.However,TIM-3 expression is not significantly correlated with survival time of patients.
