Community life-circle is the spatial unit of community residents’ daily life behavior. How to define the scope of community life-circle and evaluate the quality of community life circle has become a core issue of urban planning guided by the scientific development concept of "people-oriented".The essence of community life-circle is the supply and demand relationship between community residents and community physical space. Therefore, the measurement for community life-circle needs to relate the social space and physical space of community residents’ activities to present the whole process of community residents’ access to public services. In the background of the urban big data era, this paper proposes a life-circle measurement method, which integrates community residents’ daily life surveys and physical environment surveys around communities. This method is based on the mobile signaling data of community residents and POI data of community surrounding from online map.Using the mobile signaling data to investigate the daily life of community residents and POI data to investigate the surrounding physical environment of the community. The actual activity scope of community residents around community can be inferred by fusing two types of data, and further identify and measure the community life circle. In order to verify the effectiveness of this metho d,this paper conducts a comparative study on life circle of the typical community in Wuhan. The results show that this method can reflect the spatial characteristics of different community life circles.
