摘要
本研究基于系统功能语言学下的评价理论对2020年版上海教育出版社的高一英语上册第三单元的阅读文本进行分析解读。笔者主要以评价理论中的态度系统和级差系统为切入点,解读文本中话语资源背后作者的情感态度。分析表明,作者对四种食物表达了不同的态度以及不同程度的情感。另外,笔者将评价理论融入该文本的阅读教学实践中,旨在培养学生的评价意识,引导学生关注评价类话语资源,分析并挖掘文本背后的情感态度。经过实验教学,学生基本能利用评价系统去推断话语资源背后的情感色彩及情感强度。
The study is to analyze and interpret the reading text in the newly-released English textbook based on the Appraisal Theory of Systemic Functional Linguistics.Two sub-systems of the Appraisal Theory,attitude and graduation systems,were employed to infer the implicit attitudes and emotions from the words used.Through the analysis of certain words in the text,the varying emotions and different attitudes towards different foods were revealed.Moreover,the theory was also integrated into the reading class and was intended to cultivate students’appraisal awareness and lead students to analyze the appraisal words used.After the experimental teaching period,students were able to infer the attitudes and emotions expressed implicitly in the text based on the theory.
