摘要
提出了一个针对现有基于网络的计算机辅助翻译工具进行改进的方法和评价体系,即CATaLog Online。通过一套简单而有效的项目管理工具,为用户提供了一个后期编辑的环境,并且设计了一套在线词典查询系统,便于应用到日常查询和教学中。具体来说,它通过翻译记忆、机器翻译和自动后期编辑等步骤给出翻译建议,并记录后期编辑活动的详细日志。同时,在线词典查询系统不仅为用户提供了一个活字典,还有丰富的翻译样例,完整的上下文以及充足的背景知识等。通过一个英语翻译任务对CATaLog Online的使用进行了详细的用户调查研究。实验结果表明,本中中提出的CATaLog相比于一些现有的辅助翻译工具更加灵活和个性化,特别是在对系统翻译结果的自动输出选择和颜色方案使用以及快速、稳定的词典查询系统等方面。
This paper presented an improvement method and evaluation system for the existing network-based computer aided translation tools,namely CATaLog Online.Through a set of simple and effective project management tools,a post-editing environment is provided for users,and an online vocabulary query system is designed,which is convenient for daily query and teaching.Specifically,it gives translation suggestions through translation memory,machine translation and automatic post-editing,and records detailed logs of post-editing activities.Meanwhile,the online vocabulary query system not only provides users with a dictionary,but also has rich translation examples,complete context and sufficient background knowledge.A detailed user survey on the use of CATaLog Online was conducted through an English translation task.The experimental results show that the CATaLog proposed in this paper is more flexible and personalized than some existing auxiliary translation tools,especially in automatic output selection of system translation results,use of color scheme,and a fast and stable vocabulary query system.
