摘要
本文梳理和讨论英文儿童文学经典《爱丽丝漫游奇境记》在中国(包括中国大陆及港澳台)、马来西亚和新加坡的中文译介特征。对比发现,各华语国家和地区不同的政治历史形态及文学环境决定了《爱丽丝漫游奇境记》早期的文本流通和首个中译本的产生,《爱丽丝漫游奇境记》的译介数量、译介形态、译者特征也呈现出明显的地域性差异。文章认为,将经典大众化是各地《爱丽丝漫游奇境记》中译的普遍趋势,但具体策略各有特色,值得互相借鉴,取长补短,以促进童书译制更好发展。
This paper discusses the characteristics of Chinese translations of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland,an English classic for children,published in the Chinese-speaking regions,i.e.Chinese mainland,Chinese Taiwan,Chinese Hong Kong,Chinese Macau,Malaysia and Singapore.It finds that different political and historical situations and literary contexts have shaped the early circulated Chinese texts and the very first translation of Alice produced in each place.Translations of Alice have also shown regional features regarding the number of translations,the form of translated texts and the features of translators.Moreover,it is a shared trend in different places to translate Alice in a popular style aiming at a child audience.Drawing on each other’s strengths may further improve the translation of children’s literature.
