摘要
儿童文学作品因其读者对象的特殊性及其担负的教化和娱乐功能,要求译者在翻译活动中对译文进行适当的操控,从而凸显译者的主体性。社会主流意识形态和诗学观对译者的各种制约迫使译者"显形";同时,译者的儿童观和个性特征也让译者主动"显形"。处理好这些关系,译作将会更受读者欢迎,也更加具有持久生命力。
Translators of children's literature tend to have much more freedom to manipulate the target texts,in consideration of its special readership,as well as its didactic and entertaining function. Therefore,children's literature translators are often more visible in two ways:first,they are visible in that they are subject to the constraints set by the society's mainstream ideology and poetics in transla-tion;second,they are visible in the way that they try to manipulate their translation on the basis of their own child image and tempera-ment. Only when the translator can well manage the relationship between these two factors can he create translated works with much ac-ceptability and vitality.
