摘要
在全球化的知识经济时代,技术创新不仅是各国抢占新一轮国际竞争制高点的必要手段,也是企业屹立于市场不败的制胜武器。在中国经济体系转型升级的大背景下,文章基于2007-2018年A股上市公司样本数据,实证检验了企业技术创新与大客户依赖之间的关系。研究发现,技术创新显著降低了客户集中度,减轻了企业对大客户的依赖程度,在政府双创政策的引导下企业对外开放程度越高,二者之间的负向关系越显著。在一系列稳健性检验后,该结果依旧成立。机制检验证明,技术创新通过提高企业的竞争地位、满足客户需求来创造新的市场增长点,对集中的客户结构造成冲击,进而降低客户集中度,削弱大客户制约风险,最终降低企业经营风险。此外,文章还发现技术创新与大客户依赖的负向关系,在非国有企业及面临较高行业竞争度时更加显著。本文从大客户视角补充了企业技术创新的经济后果,为政府创新政策、企业技术创新战略和客户关系管理提供了实证证据。
In the era of the knowledge-based economy,technical innovation has not only become a necessary means for countries to gain higher international competition,but also an invincible weapon for enterprises to stand steadily in the market.In the context of the transformation and upgrading of China`s economic system,the academic and practical circles gradually realize that excessive dependence on key customers can cause a lack of independence and bring significant operational risks to enterprises.This is a problem that enterprises need to pay attention to and urgently need to be solved,and few existing studies has been addressed this issue.This paper empirically tests the relationship between enterprise technological innovation and key customer dependence using financial data of A-share listed companies from 2007-2018.Our research finds that enterprise technological innovation can effectively reduce the customer concentration and alleviate enterprise reliance on key customers.Moreover,under the guidance of the mass entrepreneurship and innovation policy,and the higher the degree of opening to the outside world,the more significant the negative relationship between them.Further research finds that strengthening technological innovation can create new market growth points by improving the competitive position and satisfying customers`needs,which will impact the concentrated customer structure,reduce customer concentration,weaken the risk of key customer constraint,and finally reduce the business risk.This paper contributes to the existing literature in three aspects:First,this paper interprets the economic consequences of technological innovation from the perspective of key customer dependence,and explores the mechanism of interaction between them.Second,this paper visualizes the macro policy and external environment in the Chinese context,and implements entrepreneurship and innovation policies and openness to the behavior and results of enterprises,which proves its regulating function of technological innovation to redu
