摘要
在后发追赶背景下,合作研发已成为我国企业能力获取的重要手段。针对多数合作研发仅是简单的研发操作模仿、能力获取效应不强的现状,在对合作研发中的知识转化界定的基础上,构建了合作治理机制、知识转化和能力获取间作用关系的理论模型,认为治理机制有效激发了知识转化行为进而驱动了跨企业间的能力获取。通过对264项能力获取型合作研发项目的实证研究发现:其一,契约治理仅对显性转化具有显著正向作用,而信任治理对隐性转化和显性转化均具有显著正向作用;其二,在从隐性转化到显性转化再到物化转化的知识转化过程中,隐性转化具有关键性的主导作用,推动了后续的显性转化和物化转化;其三,由隐性转化和显性转化驱动的正向研发学习促进了生产能力获取,物化转化代表的逆向研发学习和正向研发学习共同促进了研发能力获取,由此,物化转化在研发能力培育中具有不可替代的学习效应。研究拓展了对合作研发中知识转化及其治理机制的理解,对基于合作研发的能力获取具有一定启示作用。
Under the catching-up background,joint R&D has become an important vehicle of acquiring capabilities for Chinese enterprises.In view of the fact that most joint R&D is mainly simple operation imitation thus cannot bring the desired ability,this study constructs a theoretical model of the interaction among governance mechanism,knowledge conversion and capability acquisition in joint R&D based on the definition of knowledge conversion and comes to the conclusion that governance mechanism effectively stimulates knowledge conversion and then drives cross-enterprise capability acquisition.Through an empirical study of 264 capabilityacquisition joint R&D projects,this research found that:1.Contract governance only has positive effect on explicit knowledge conversion while trust governance has positive effect on both tacit and explicit knowledge conversion;2.In the process of conversion from tacit to explicit to materialized knowledge,the tacit knowledge conversion plays a key leading role and promotes the subsequent explicit and materialized knowledge conversion;3.The forward R&D learning driven by tacit and explicit knowledge conversion promotes production capability acquisition.The backward R&D learning driven by materialized knowledge conversion together with the forward R&D learning jointly promote R&D capability acquisition.Therefore,materialized knowledge conversion has an irreplaceable learning effect in the cultivation of R&D capabilities.The research expands the understanding of knowledge conversion and governance mechanism in joint R&D and has some enlightenment for the capability acquisition based on joint R&D.
