摘要
从价值论的视角来看,普世价值指事物对于人类共同主体所具有的价值。当今国际上所宣扬的以自由、民主、平等、人权为核心的“普世价值”是西方国家意识形态、价值观的集中体现。普世价值的根源在于哲学传统中根深蒂固的普遍主义理念。西方价值观中的自由、民主、平等、人权等理念不能作为普世价值。当前,中国应培育和践行社会主义核心价值观来反击西方普世价值的挑战。我们提倡的是共同价值而不是普世价值,二者有着本质的区别。
From the perspective of axiology,universal value refers to the value that things have for the common subject of mankind.The"universal values"of freedom,democracy,equality,and human rights advocated internationally today are the concentrated embodiment of the ideology and values of western countries.The root of universal value lies in the idea of universalism deeply rooted in philosophical tradition.The western values of freedom,democracy,equality,and human rights cannot be regarded as universal values.At present,China should cultivate and practice core socialist values to counter the challenge of western"universal values".We promote common values rather than universal values,and there is a fundamental difference between the two.
