澳大利亚英才教育的历史、实践与经验 被引量:7

History,Status Quo and Experience of Gifted Education in Australia

摘要 独特的社会文化使得澳大利亚英才教育发展相对滞后。面对日益激烈的国际竞争以及在国际大型标准化测试表现不佳的状况,澳政府正逐步超越公平与卓越的二元论争,各州(领地)政府近期陆续发布多项英才教育政策,对英才教育的目标、基本模式、项目内容以及英才儿童的甄别等方面做出规定。当前,澳大利亚英才教育分为两种基本模式:(1)新州模式,即重点学校与重点班;(2)南澳州模式,即普通班级学习,辅之以差异化课程。澳政府从重视师资培养与专业发展、保障教育公平避免歧视、积极开发网络教育资源等三方面着手发展英才教育。借鉴澳大利亚英才教育之经验,我国应充分认识英才教育的战略意义,保障教育公平,消除公众对英才教育的误解与疑虑,并建立科学与公平兼备的甄选机制,推进本土英才教育研究,重视英才教育师资的培养,借鉴南澳州英才教育模式逐步推动英才教育不断发展。 Gifted education develops slowly in Australia due to its particular socio-cultural background.With the increasingly intensified International competition between countries and Australian students’poor performance on large international standardized tests,such as PISA and TIMMS,Australian governments had realized the importance of gifted education for the Commonwealth.As a result,all the states and territories in Australia had made and published gifted education policy in the areas of gifted and talented children identification,gifted education aims and goals,programs and so on to promote gifted education.There are two basic modes of gifted education in Australia:New South Wales Mode,which focuses on selective schools and classes;South Australia Mode,which focuses on learning in the mainstream class with differential courses and activities.The major features of Australian gifted education are teacher training and professional development,ensuring equality in education and avoiding discrimination,and taking active action to develop online education courses.Our government should fully understand the strategic significance of gifted education,take measures to dispel public misconceptions and misgivings about gifted education and build scientific and fair gifted and talented children identification methods,providing great resource on local research on gifted education.South Australia gifted education Mode may be more suitable for our country.
