摘要
在新时代中华优秀文化的对外传播中,毛泽东诗词发挥着不可替代的作用。国内译者中,许渊冲的毛泽东诗词英译活动时间最长、译本种类最多,特色鲜明。因此,对许渊冲毛泽东诗词英译进行研究具有理论意义和实践价值。许渊冲数十年笔耕不辍,勇于突破和创新,其毛泽东诗词英译的影响力进一步扩大。在许渊冲英译毛泽东诗词的启发下,本文认为,由海外出版社出版发行、改进传播方式、重译等策略可以使毛泽东诗词的对外传播效果得到更加有效的提升。
As an important part of the excellent Chinese culture,Mao Zedong’s poems play an irreplaceable role in China’s international communication in the new era.Among the translators of Mao Zedong’s poems in China,Xu Yuanchong is the most influential one because he has had the longest experience in the translation,his English versions are the most numerous and his translation features are highly distinctive.Hence,it is theoretically and practically significant to study his translation.Xu Yuanchong has done the English translation of Mao Zedong’s poems for decades.He has been courageous in making breakthroughs and innovations in his translation.Thus,his English versions of Mao Zedong’s poems have become increasingly influential.Under his inspiration,it is suggested that the future English versions of Mao Zedong’s poems should be published by the overseas publishers,and the modes of communication and the strategies used in the retranslation should be changed so as to promote the effectiveness of international communication.
