摘要
如何构建校本大学英语课程体系的问题备受高校大学英语教学研究者的关注。基于需求分析,通过问卷调查和半结构式访谈对上海理工大学37名大学英语教师、10名教学职能部门负责人和702名非英语专业一至四年级学生,就英语学习目标、学生身份认同、课程需求等进行调查。结果显示:1)学生英语学习目标需求和身份认同呈现明显多元;2)学生身份认同多元与其对学校设定不同教学目标的愿望等呈显著相关;3)学生大学英语学习内容取向多元。基于需求分析结果,研究构建了适应理工特点、对接学校培养理念的普通理工院校大学英语校本课程体系,以满足学生多元目标需求。
The construction of school-based college English curriculum piques much concern among researchers of college English instruction.Based on needs analysis of shareholders,this study initiated a survey on learning targets,curricular needs and student identity,among 702 non-English major undergraduates,37 college English teachers and 10 deans from University of Shanghai for Science and Technology via questionnaire and semi-structured interviews.The findings show:1)students’learning targets and their identities are diverse;2)the students’anticipation of different teaching goals is positively correlated with their identities;3)students’college English learning is diversified in contents.Based on the research results,the paper suggests that multi-level English teaching curricular system be established in accordance with the education philosophy of the university with the characteristics of science and technology in order to satisfy students’different needs for multiple learning goals.
