基于城市分级的高速铁路与区域消费升级实证研究 被引量:3

摘要 为探讨高速铁路的开通对城市居民消费水平的影响,选取2008—2018年全国280个地级及以上城市的面板数据,采用多期双重差分模型,从资本、劳动、产业结构和政府4个方面开展研究。实证分析结果表明:高速铁路开通在总体上对区域消费规模升级有正向作用;考察高速铁路对不同区域和不同级别的城市的影响,发现高速铁路对中西部城市促进作用更显著,东部地区由于虹吸作用的影响,高速铁路的经济意义较弱;高速铁路的开通对大多数城市的消费规模升级有促进作用,对四线城市表现为抑制作用。结合实证分析,提出高速铁路的开通应充分结合城市地域位置及发展状况达到促进地方消费增长、加速经济发展的目的。 With the panel data of 280 cities at prefecture level or above in China from 2008 to 2018 and the multi-period difference-in-differences(DID) model, this paper studied the impact of high speed railway on the consumption level of urban residents from four aspects, namely capital, labor, industrial structure, and government. Empirical analysis shows that high speed railway generally has a positive effect on the upgrade of regional consumption scale. Through examination of the impact that high speed railway has on cities in different regions and at different levels, it is found that its effect on cities in the central and western regions is more prominent. In contrast, it has limited economic significance in the eastern regions due to the siphon effect. High speed railway has promoted the consumption scale upgrade of most cities. Nevertheless, the influence that it has on fourth-tier cities is an inhibitory one. Upon empirical analysis, this paper proposes that promotion of local consumption growth and economic development acceleration by high speed railway should be based on sufficient consideration of the location and development status of the city.
