美国小学汉语兴趣班与主题式教学 被引量:3

A Probe into After-school Chinese Program and Theme-based Teaching Practice in American Primary Schools

摘要 汉语国际教育背景下,独立于小学课程体系之外的汉语兴趣班是美国汉语教学实践的重要组成部分,在帮助小学生学习汉语及传播中国文化方面发挥着重要作用。小学汉语兴趣班课程不在正规课程体系内,主要以培养学习者对中国语言文化的兴趣为目标,课程标准需符合全美外语教学标准和所在州的课程体系要求。汉语兴趣班因课程性质、教师、教材、学习者特点等问题,教学效果不够显著。主题式教学以主题引导,兴趣为要,符合小学汉语兴趣班的特点和定位。主题式教学的主题在垂直层级、水平逻辑、广度拓展上体现系统性的前提下,教学之初可采用某一主题相对凸显"5C"标准之一,随着学习内容的深化,可使教学主题尽可能均衡体现"5C"标准。主题式教学有利于增进美国小学生对中国语言文化的认识和了解,值得进一步探索实践。 Under the background of international Chinese education,the After-school Chinese Program,independent of the primary school curriculum system,is an important part of American Chinese teaching practice,and it plays an important role in helping primary school students learn Chinese and promoting Chinese culture,and mainly aims at cultivating learners’interest in Chinese language and culture.The After-school Chinese Program should not only comply with the national foreign language proficiency standards,but also comply with the requirements of the State even it is not included in school formal curriculum system.However,the teaching effect is not significant enough because of its course-orientation,teachers,teaching materials and learners’characteristics.Theme-based teaching embodies systematicness in vertical level,horizontal logic and breadth expansion.Therefore,at the beginning of teaching,one of the"5C"standards can be relatively highlighted by a certain topic.And with the advancement of learning content,a teaching topic can reflect all of the 5C standards in a balanced way.Theme-based teaching is theme-oriented and interest-oriented,which is in line with the characteristics and orientation of After-school Chinese Program and can help to enhance primary school learners’understanding of Chinese language and culture.So,it is worthy of further exploration and practice.
