摘要
在知识经济时代,大学,尤其是一流大学在区域经济发展中扮演的角色愈发重要。对其角色,西方学界通常用“锚定角色”予以形容。通过对加州大学的案例分析,可以发现美国一流公立大学在区域经济发展中的锚定角色,主要表现为雇主、消费者、科技创新者、高技术人才培养者以及房地产开发者的角色。实现加州大学锚定角色的保障机制,包括政治、政策、资金、人才的多重支持,以及大学内部学术文化的转型和治理结构的改革。
In the era of knowledge economy,universities,especially world-class universities are playing an increasing role in regional economic development.Such a role is often described as the“anchor role”by Western academia.A case study of the University of California(UC)reveals that the anchor role of world class US public universities in regional economic development is mainly classified as the role of employer,consumer,scientific and technological innovator,cultivator of high-end technological talents,and proper⁃ty developer.UC’s safeguard mechanism for the anchor roles includes political,policy,capital,and talent supports,as well as the academic and cultural transformation and governance structure reform within the university.
