摘要
光栅耦合器具有较高的耦合效率和较小的体积,且易于制备、封装,主要应用于光纤与波导之间的耦合.硅基光子集成芯片中,作为光信号的输入和输出装置受到极大重视.在硅基材料上设计了中心波长为2μm光栅耦合器,并在布拉格光栅结构的基础上,对波长、脊高、占空比等参数进行了模拟与优化,验证了其耦合效率.仿真结果显示,当λ=2.05μm波长光入射时,占空比在f=0.5左右,脊高为100 mm,耦合效率达到最大值19.8%.
Grating couplers are mainly used for coupling between optical fibers and waveguides because of their high coupling efficiency,as well as small size,and easy preparation and packaging.In silicon-based photonic integrated chips,the input and output devices of optical signals have received great attention.So the main content of this article is to design a grating coupler with a center wavelength of 2μm on a silicon-based material,modify and optimize parameters with wavelength,ridge height,and duty ratio to verify its coupling efficiency.When the wavelength of the incident light isλ=2.05μm,the duty ratio is about f=0.5 and the ridge height is 100 mm,according to the simulation results,the coupling efficiency is the maximum value of 19.8%.
