Objective To explore the clinical value of comprehensive abdominal ultrasound in elderly patients with abdominal pain. Methods A total of 120 elderly patients with abdominal pain diagnosed and treated in the Second People′s Hospital of Jingdezhen City from June 2018 to December 2019 were divided into the experimental group and the control group according to the different examination methods. The two groups underwent a comprehensive abdominal ultrasound and selective abdominal ultrasound, respectively. The ultrasound examination time, clinical diagnosis time, and coincidence rate of ultrasound diagnosis between the two groups were compared. Results The time of ultrasound examination in the experimental group was(19.45±3.76)min,the clinical diagnosis time was(1.75±0.54)h,and the coincidence rate of ultrasound diagnosis was 88.3%.The difference between the experimental group and the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the diagnosis of peptic ulcer or tumors and angiogenic abdominal pain, the diagnostic coincidence rates of the experimental group were 72.7%and 77.7%,which were significantly different from those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion In elderly patients with abdominal pain, although the use of comprehensive abdominal ultrasound examination will extend the examination time,it will increase the diagnostic coincidence rate and shorten the clinical diagnosis time, which has high clinical value.
