摘要
儿童模仿虚拟的媒介暴力并导致了多起真实的暴力伤害事件,由此引发了关于媒介暴力与儿童模仿媒介暴力行为之间关系的讨论。综观已有的论争,主要呈现出三种理论观点:一是因果论者认为,观看媒介暴力与儿童模仿暴力行为之间存在着必然的因果关系,媒介暴力是促成儿童模仿暴力行为的罪魁祸首;二是催化论者驳斥了因果论者的观点,认为媒介暴力是诱发儿童模仿暴力行为的催化剂,儿童暴力行为的发生是基因、人格特征、家庭暴力等因素与环境交互作用的结果;三是净化论者认为,媒介暴力是净化儿童模仿暴力行为的过滤器,儿童观看媒介暴力画面后能够宣泄自己的情绪,降低采取暴力行为的欲求和冲动,起到情感净化的作用。媒介暴力是社会现实生活中的一种必然存在,其目的不在于封堵媒介暴力的模仿问题,而在于采取应对策略来疏导儿童对暴力行为的错误性模仿。
Children imitate virtual media violence and cause real violence injury, which sparked a heated debate of the relationship between media violence and children’s imitation of media violence. Looking at the existing debates, there are mainly three theoretical perspectives: firstly, the causalists claimed a necessary causal relationship between media violence and children’s imitation of media violence, and media violence is the chief factor in children’s imitating violence. Secondly, catalyzers refuted the view of causalists and maintained that media violence is a catalyst for inducing children to imitate, and the occurrence of children violence is the result of interactions among gene, personality traits, domestic violence and environmental factors. Finally, the purist believed that media violence is a filter to purify children’s imitation of media violence. After watching the media violence, children can vent their emotions, reduce the desire and impulse to take violent behavior, and play the role of emotional purification. Therefore, the media violence is a reflection of the real life of society. Its purpose is not to block the imitation of media violence. Rather we need to adopt strategies to alleviate the negative effects of children’s imitating media violence.
