社交媒体虚假疫情信息纠正效果评估的元分析 被引量:5

摘要 [目的/意义]社交媒体纠正对遏制虚假疫情信息的传播至关重要,但是已有研究对社交媒体纠正虚假疫情信息的有效性存在较大分歧。本研究尝试评估社交媒体虚假疫情信息的纠正效果,以期为社交媒体平台纠正虚假疫情信息提供有益借鉴,为公共卫生机构制定社交媒体虚假疫情信息应对策略提供有益参考。[方法/过程]系统收集了13篇文献的16项有关社交媒体虚假疫情信息纠正效果的因果证据(N=4515),采用元分析技术对社交媒体虚假疫情信息的纠正效果进行了综合定量评估,并深入考察了影响社交媒体纠正效果的调节因素。[结果/结论]元分析结果显示,社交媒体虚假疫情信息的纠正效果是正向且显著的(d=0.32,95%CI[0.19,0.44],p<0.001),调节效应分析表明,样本的卷入度、虚假来源、纠正来源、纠正格式和纠正措施均显著影响社交媒体的纠正效果,而社交平台和纠正表达对社交媒体纠正效果无显著影响。 [Purpose/Significance]Social media correction is an essential action to curb the spread of epidemic misinformation.However,there are inconsistent findings regarding the effectiveness of social media in correcting epidemic misinformation.This study attempts to evaluate the effect of correcting epidemic misinformation on social media,providing a useful reference for social media platforms to correct epidemic misinformation and offering a useful guide for public health agencies to formulate countermeasures against epidemic misinformation on social media.[Method/Process]The study systematically collected 16 causal pieces of evidence(N=4515)related to the corrective effect of epidemic misinformation on social media from 13 studies,and adopted a comprehensive quantitative evaluation of the corrective effect of epidemic misinformation on social media using meta-analysis technology,and examined the moderating factors that affected the corrective effect of social media.[Result/Conclusion]The meta-analysis results showed that the corrective effect of epidemic misinformation on social media was significant(d=0.32,95%CI[0.19,0.44],p<0.001).The analysis of the moderating effect showed that the sample's involvement,sources of misinformation,sources of corrective information,corrective formats,and corrective measures significantly affected the corrective effect of social media.Social networking platforms and corrective expressions little affected the corrective effect of social media.
