摘要
生理增强技术是利用药物、生物技术、基因技术和智能技术等改善人的身体机能和生命活动的技术方式或手段。其伦理两难体现为,在给人类带来福祉的同时也给人类自身的健康、安全和进化带来威胁。要解决此问题,就要调和生理增强技术和人类自身的共同善之间的关系。身体德性立足身体之自然善,致力于解放身体、挑战身体的局限,以发挥身体的自由和价值。身体德性指导下的生理增强技术,应以身体健康为基础、以身体强健为动力、以身体自由为目的,致力于人类自身的共同善,如此生理增强技术就不仅会实现自身的积极价值,也会为维护人类自身及其进化的利益做出贡献。
Physiological enhancement technology is designed to enhance a person’s physical capacities using drugs,biotechnology,genetic technology,and intelligent technology.It is caught in the ethical dilemma that while it brings benefits to humans,it also poses a threat to their health,safety and evolution.Given the circumstances,the common good of human beings should be an ethical principle on its part.Body virtue is dedicated to liberating the body and transcending its limitations.Guided by body virtue,physiological enhancement technology should be committed to the common good of human beings by providing health,robustness and freedom to humans so that it will show its own positiveness and do its part to the human evolution as well.
