摘要
在访谈和课内外观察记录的基础上,本研究发现美国孔子学院大学生汉语学习以兴趣性内在动机为主,具有美国特点,利于孔子学院汉语教学;不同学生学习汉语的目标、重点不一致,需要教师制定不同的教学目标,实施不同的教学要求;汉语学习的困难主要来自汉字与读音,美国学生认为汉字的形音义是三个各自独立的体系,因此针对大学生的汉语教学需要设置汉语概论等内容,帮助学生形成汉字是一个有机系统的认知观念;汉语学习使学生对汉语及中国的认知从浅层、片面走向深入、全面,从情感上对目的语、目的语文化及人民有亲切感,这不仅与汉语本身的魅力有关,也与汉语相关的历史文化以及从事汉语教学的教师等因素有关。
Based on interview materials and observation records in and out of Chinese class,this study shows that the Chinese learning of Confucius institute students is mainly driven by interest,which is con⁃ducive to the Chinese teaching in Confucius Institute.Different students have different objectives and re⁃quirements for Chinese learning,which requires teachers to implement different teaching plans and objec⁃tives during the specific teaching.The difficulties in learning Chinese are from Chinese characters and Chinese pronunciation,Chinese character is an unity of form,sound and significance,but the students think they are three separate systems.Therefore,an introduction to Chinese and other contents should be set for Chinese teaching to help students form such a viewpoint that Chinese is an organic system.After Chinese learning,students’perspective of understanding Chinese language and China have changed from superficial and one-sided to deep and comprehensive,they also have a deep affection for the language and the country,which is not only related to the charm of Chinese language itself,but also related to the historical and cultural factors from the language and Chinese teachers.
